Sunshine Activist InterviewsAre YOU a Sunshine Activist? Grab a sidebar widget to let the world know!
This is a special project of WikiFOIA and State Sunshine and Open Records devoted to interviews with Sunshine Activists around the nation. A Sunshine Activist is a non-professional person who files open records requests. By "non-professional" we mean that the person is not an attorney, not a professional working journalist, and not a paid political operative -- but a concerned community member that is seeking to understand the workings of local government better by using Open Records laws.
One of the special features of the interview pages is that they are locked from editing by the average WikiFOIA user. This means that if an interview is posted here, it will remain the same no matter how many edits other pages of the wiki might receive. So, if you are interested in being interviewed but concerned about having your words altered via the wiki format, please be assured that the page with your interview will be permanently locked against any changes. If you are interested in contributing content to other pages of WikiFOIA (for example, by signing up to host an edition of the Carnival of Open Records) take a look at this page for tips on how to do so.
