This page is about the ability of ordinary Pennsylvania citizens to learn about public employee salaries in their state.
In recent years, newspapers and other websites in some states have started making public employee salary information easily accessible for anyone with a computer. However, that's not true in every state.
This section of WikiFOIA keeps track, state-by-state, of access to this information. In states where the information is avilable, we tell you where you can find it. In states where it is not, we keep track of efforts to make it public.
The Altoona Mirror did a survey of public school superintendents and have created an online database of the contracts available here.
