Who is eligible to host an edition of the Carnival of Open Records?

Does my blog need to focus exclusively on open records in order for me to host an edition?

  • No. If you think that hosting an edition of the Carnival on your blog will be of interest to your readers, and will help raise awareness about open records issues, you are welcome to be a host, even if you've never written about this subject before.

I'm interested in hosting an edition of the Carnival of Open Records, but I don't want to sort through all the submission e-mails. Is there an easier way?

  • Why yes, there is. WikiFIOA users are welcome to use the Carnival Workbook to submit blog posts for carnival consideration. Carnival editors can peruse the workbook and select blog posts and articles for their edition.

  • If you're hosting an edition of the Carnival and you want submissions to go to the Carnival Workbook instead of you having to wade through emails, make sure to include the Carnival Workbook URL in your blog post inviting submissions.
